We built Pilea to catch what humans scroll past
Pilea is an AI-powered UX audit platform for e-commerce teams. Its multi-agent engine is trained on thousands of high-performing e-commerce patterns, so it can scan a whole site — not just one page — and flag exactly which design and usability issues are quietly costing conversions, ranked by estimated revenue impact.
How we started
Pilea was founded by Baptiste Vanpoperinghe and Amaury Grange, who met studying Economics & Management at SKEMA Business School. In fall 2024 they joined UC Berkeley's Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SCET) as visiting founders, where the idea for Pilea took shape. The company went on to join the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator in New York, backed by investors including ERA, Plug and Play, and Campus Fund.
"The perfect moment to start was yesterday. The next perfect moment is today."
